To celebrate National Poetry Month, help Bookshop.org and Penguin Young Readers donate copies of Amanda Gorman’s books to schools and community organizations across the country. Donations accepted through May 13, 2022.
Amanda Gorman is the youngest presidential inaugural poet in US history. She is a committed advocate for the environment, racial equality, and gender justice. The gift edition of her inaugural poem The Hill We Climb captures the energy of that momentous day, her children’s picture book Change Sings empowers children to make change in their communities, and her collection of poetry Call Us What We Carry is a lyric of hope and healing. Publishing all in the same calendar year, these books position Gorman as our messenger from the past and our voice for the future.
When you purchase a copy of an Amanda Gorman title through Looker Books' page, the book(s) will be donated to We Need Diverse Books, a non-profit organization that distributes books to low-income classrooms, educators, and organizations across the country.

Looker Books has partnered with Arts Holding Hands and Hearts (AHHAH) to bring Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to Coatesville!
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library works with local affiliates to mail free, high-quality books to preschool children once a month, no matter their family’s income. Each title is selected by a panel of early childhood literacy experts, who choose books to meet the age-specific developmental needs of young children.
Our goal through this program is to increase literacy levels for preschool age children living in Coatesville, PA, to provide opportunities for positive family experiences and engagement, and to foster a love of reading in the greater Coatesville community.
