Position Details
- $15-20 per hour
- A small stipend will be provided for personal phone use
- 5 hours per week (at least 1 hour in-person at the shop)
- This position will require some in-person work as well as work from home
- Personal or public transport to Coatesville, PA required
Responsibilities
- Assist the owner to develop a 6-12 month marketing and communications plan
- Plan and create content for Looker Books’ social media channels
- Including light graphic design and photo curation
- At least two unique posts per week
- Analyze historic communications to determine the most effective themes, formats, and times for optimal engagement on each channel
- Assist with event marketing and analysis
- Additional in-person assistance may be required on event days
- Research and implement search engine optimization tactics for Looker Books’ website
- Keep up to date on the latest social media best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing and/or Communications major, courses, or background preferred
- Experience with and access to social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Some simple graphic design experience with online programs such as Canva
- Detail-oriented, organized, creative, and strong writing skills
- An interest in books and reading is preferred, but not required
